Shift Manager
Reports to: Finishing Manager
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong communication and leadership skills to join Futamura as Shift Manager. The role involves managing the shift teams to ensure the efficient operation of the plant within specified production performance targets and objectives to meet customer requirements, while ensuring the safety of the workforce and meeting process safety/environmental requirements.
Principle Job Responsibilities:
- To manage people to achieve a well-trained motivated workforce.
- To manage all associated plant.
- To communicate with the workforce and develop personnel.
- Identify employee training needs and deal with personnel issues.
- Ensure all production operation activities are performed in compliance with company procedures, company rules and environmental requirements,
- Implement the key risk control systems necessary for the control of major accident hazards (process safety) & environmental hazards to ensure safety, pollution prevention and control (IPPC) permit limits are not breached.
- Initiate (when applicable) and support Investigations into abnormal situations and emergencies to ensure issues are dealt with in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure communication on quality to all relevant departments and provide support as required.
- Help and support as required the training of operators.
- Provide shift teams and management with information, guidance and advice on safety/environmental/quality, production and personnel related issues.
- Regularly review performance of shift teams with department team leaders and follow-up and feedback as required.
If you hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent, are an experienced and proven manager of people working in a similar environment and are numerate with attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, who is a great all-round team player we look forward to recieiving your application.

Mechanical Apprentice
Reports to: Engineering Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our engineering team as a Mechanical Pipe Fitting Apprentice.
Candidates should possess a great work ethic, with a willingness to learn and develop as well as being an excellent team player.
The successful candidate will not only gain practical and professional on the job experience but will also study for a recognised qualification.

Asset Integrity Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Managers
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Asset Integrity Programme
- Compile P&ID and identify SCE
- Ensure tagging/labelling of all mechanical and electrical equipment
- Specify and analyse maintenance routines to comply with the relevant standards and regulations
- Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical and Process Safety Engineers to ensure across the board compliance with appropriate regulations
- Ageing Plant – identification, sourcing of spare parts and equipment
- Management of change, monitor compliance for maintenance functions
It is desirable for the successful candidate to have electrical or mechnical engineering experience, be computer literate and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Candidates should hold an HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
