We&#8217;re looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our dynamic team!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As a Mechanical Design and Development Engineer, your primary goal will be to revolutionise our manufacturing plant , driving efficiency and ensuring we meet and exceed our production targets. You&#8217;ll play a crucial role in both designing new systems and enhancing existing ones, paving the way for standardised project implementation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Providing innovative solutions <\/b>for capital investment and maintenance of equipment.<\/li>\n<li><b>Providing technical support <\/b>to assist in the diagnosis and rectification of complex production and plant service breakdowns<\/li>\n<li><b>Supporting project management <\/b>to deliver on company objectives from initiation through to commissioning\/handover<\/li>\n<li><b>Utilising CAD based packages <\/b>(AutoCAD &amp; Inventor) to produce detailed drawings<\/li>\n<li><b>Ensuring technical files <\/b>are compiled and maintained<\/li>\n<li><b>Managing <\/b><b>sub-contract specialist design <\/b>during specific project tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering degree &#8211; with at least 3 years\u2019 experience.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant regulatory experience &#8211; i.e. COMAH, DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH &amp; CDM.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of CAD packages.<\/li>\n<li>Design of machinery steelwork, sheet metal, access ways, tanks &amp; pipework.<\/li>\n<li>Selection of pumps, mechanical drives, rollers, valves &amp; filters.<\/li>\n<li>Producing hand calculations\/utilising calculation packages for structures &amp; flows.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work autonomously.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Alignment to our key business values &#8211; Helping each other, Doing the right thing &amp; Making tomorrow better than today.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additional Information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasional out of hours contact to support current projects may be required.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel (E.g. for supplier visits) may be necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Speculative applications from recent graduates or for placements during study are also welcomed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In return we offer a competitive salary, bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, Defined Contribution pension scheme, Life Assurance cover, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Working (hybrid working considered) and the opportunity to grow and progress your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Joining our team means being part of a forward-thinking environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
