Designed to replace plastic microbeads, also referred to as primary plastics, used in personal care products and cosmetic application such as scrubs, cosmetic foundation and body washes, as well as added to films, inks and paint to impart a matt finish. NatureSphere is a pure, renewable cellulose bead ingredient made from wood sourced from managed forestry.
Formed as a 6μm particle, NatureSphere cellulose beads are particularly suitable for cosmetic applications, gently providing good spreadability on the skin, and for blending into paints and inks for a matt, smooth texture.
Certified as both home and marine compostable, NatureSphere cellulose beads decompose naturally at their end of life. NatureSphere beads are manufactured using our unique Rahcel™ production method that does not require organic solvents to form the spheres. In turn, this means there is no risk of any solvents being retained in the product.
